    • These are the issues that were covered during the drop in session.

The session was recorded, timestamps for each section are listed so you can navigate straight to the part of the video that you require.

      1. How does a learner complete the final sign-off process for the IV Therapy Passport? 0:23

Learners can only request final sign-off once all required competencies have been completed and confirmed. When this happens, a final sign-off request option becomes available at the bottom of the self-assessment. The learner submits the request to their supervisor.

      2. When does the educator or supervisor sign-off option appear? 4:16

The option only appears after all required competencies and assessments have been completed and signed off. If the button is missing, there are likely outstanding competencies still awaiting confirmation.

      3. What should be checked if the final sign-off button is not available? 7:33

The numbers of self-assessed and confirmed competencies shown at the top of the assessment should be compared. Any difference indicates competencies that have not yet been signed off.

      4. Could optional competency requirements prevent completion of the IV Passport? 8:26

Yes. Learners must complete the minimum number of required optional competencies before they can achieve the IV Passport.

      5. What happens after a learner submits a final sign-off request? 9:43

The system sends an email notification to the supervisor (educator manager). The request then appears as an outstanding item in the supervisor dashboard where it can be reviewed, approved or rejected.

      6. How will organisations be informed about updates to the Steps 2 and 3 Digital Competencies? 11:34

Framework owners will issue communications when the updated content is ready for use. CC3N should be contacted for additional information and noted that the current plan is to release the updated content around September.

      7. How can Centre Managers obtain an Excel report showing learner competency completion? 13:59

From the Tracking System, open Self-Assessment Reports, select the required self-assessment and download the report as an Excel spreadsheet. View support article.

      8. Are there additional reporting tools available beyond Excel reports? 17:09

Yes. Tableau dashboards are linked from the Self-Assessment Reports area. These dashboards provide identifiable and non-identifiable reporting on learner progress, completions, enrolments and competency data.

      9. Can Tableau dashboards be filtered below Centre level? 18:42

No. Dashboards can currently be filtered to Centre level but cannot be filtered further to ward or departmental level.

      10. What information is available in the non-identifiable Tableau dashboard? 19:55

The dashboard provides information on completions, learners in progress, learners not started, enrolment trends, completion times and skills-gap analysis across the selected organisation.

      11. How can the dashboard be used operationally? 22:16

Enrolment and progress data can help organisations identify new starters, monitor learner engagement, recognise stalled learners and identify potential skills gaps requiring intervention.
