These are the issues that were covered during the drop in session.
The session was recorded, timestamps for each section are listed so you can navigate straight to the part of the video that you require.
1. Is it possible to upload the Enhanced Care Competency Level 1 (from CC3N)? 1:32
This framework is owned by the National Outreach Forum; it is currently under review and expected to digitise once updated.
2. Unable to enrol staff onto Step 4. 5:34
This issue was resolved after the session. Step 4 was not classified to the correct learning category (clinical framework), preventing the supervisor enrolling staff on it. This has now been rectified and staff correctly enrolled onto Step 4.
3. Obtaining certificates for IV Therapy Passport elearning (on Learning Hub). 9:12
Certificates are generated for each completed module and can be downloaded individually.
4. Follow up question - do the modules need to be done in order? 11:38
Modules do not need to be completed in order; assessments must be passed to obtain certificates.
5. Creating accounts for staff without becoming their supervisor. 13:39
Creating accounts does not assign supervision; only a supervisor adding them to their staff list list does.
6. How to access reporting on competencies that have been self-assessed? 19:25
Self-assessment reporting is available in the Tracking System; more detailed dashboards in development. Support article
7. Are centre managers notified when someone registers on DLS? 24:08
Internal trust registrations will auto-approve (providing we have the trust IP addresses); external registrations appear in the Approve Registrations section.
The next training sessions are as follows:
• 11 March at 10am – Centre Managers & Implementation Leads
• 18 March at 10am – Supervisors & Nominated Supervisors
