    • The TEL support model is aligned for both new and existing competency frameworks, to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to access training for DLS.

      This includes:

      • Quarterly training sessions delivered by the TEL team and split by role
        • Session 1 for centre managers and implementation leads
        • Session 2 for supervisors and nominated supervisors
      • Training video dedicated to reporting (coming soon)
      • Monthly TEL technical drop in sessions
      • Updated competency frameworks microsite (in progress)
        • Additional support articles
        • New bitesize videos
      • Support from the TEL team via email/ticket


      In addition to the above each framework will host their own dedicated Community of Practice (CoP) where you can obtain assistance with any clinical or implementation queries.

      Training Session Details

      Training session 1

      This session is aimed at centre managers (clinical and non-clinical) and implementation leads. It covers:

      • Platform and competency framework overview
      • Platform roles and responsibilities
      • Example of platform roles within an organisation
      • Roles of clinical and non-clinical centre managers
      • Registration prompts
      • Registration methods
      • Assigning role permissions

      The next session will take place on Wednesday 11th March, 10-11am. Register for the training to secure your place.

      Training session 2

      This session is aimed at supervisors and nominated supervisors (i.e. those who will be supervising learners). It covers:

      • Platform roles and responsibilities
      • Role of the supervisor
      • Adding learners to my staff list
      • Self-enrolling onto a test self assessment
      • Enrolling learners onto a self assessment
      • Adding a nominated supervisor
      • Competency submission
      • Supervisor dashboard and competency sign off
      • Final sign off
      • Reporting overview

      The next session will take place on Wednesday 18th March, 10-11am. Register for the training to secure your place.

      Both training sessions have been recorded and have been added to Training, allowing anyone to access the training at any time.
