  5. Technical Drop-In 6th January 2026

Modified on Wed, 14 Jan at 11:42 AM

    • These are the issues that were covered during the drop in session.

The session was recorded, timestamps for each section are listed so you can navigate straight to the part of the video that you require.

      1. Updates from TEL team. 0:51

Dates for the next training sessions have been confirmed for March.

      Session 1 - Wednesday 11th March, 10-11am. Register.

      Session 2 - Wednesday 18th March, 10-11am. Register.

Full details on who the sessions are for and what covered can be found on the support site.

Work is commencing to refine supervisor permissions and looking at integration of DLS into the Learning Hub, to move towards a unified platform.

      2. Self assessment confirmation remaining on to-do list, despite completing confirmation. 4:11

This is an on-going issue which has been observed at more than one centre; investigation into this is ongoing as the root cause is yet to be identified. Optional competencies can cause totals to look different to what is expected; this can be resolved by learners removing any unnecessary optional competencies.

      3. The centre dashboard shows 17,039 delegates, how can I filter and view progress for my learners? 6:11

This is viewable in Tracking System > Delegates > Delegate Activities. Then search for the specific framework, and expand a learner to see their progress and details. There are also framework specific reports within Tracking System > Centre > Self assessment reports. Download the required report in Excel and then apply filters as needed (dragging down the blue triangle to activate filters). Support article on progress reports.

      4. IV Therapy Passport shows as 'not available'. Is this normal, and how should learners be enrolled? 10:46

Clinically supervised frameworks require supervisor enrolment via the Supervise function; supervisors add staff to their list and then enrol them to IV Therapy Passport. The competency framework support site contains lots of useful information, including on managing your staff list and learner enrolment.

      5. How to add new staff as supervisors or centre managers? 14:39

Ask staff to self-register first, then locate them under Delegates and promote to admin, assigning appropriate roles. Once promoted roles can be managed via the Admin screen.

      6. Clarification on roles: registering Band 5's, allocating them to supervisors/nominated supervisors, and who changes roles. 17:45

Centre managers can promote users to nominated supervisor via the Delegates screen. Supervisors may also promote within a framework, but the Delegates route is the usual path. Additional clinical centre managers can be added to help manage promotions. Support article on promoting a delegate.

      7. Transitioning to version 2 of IV Therapy Passport self assessment. 22:18

This is currently still in testing and some fixes require technical team updates to flow logic; Digital IV Therapy Passport version 2 is targeted for release in the coming weeks, pending further feedback.
