Adding optional proficiencies

• There may be optional proficiencies in the framework that you can add. Refer to the introductory guidance for your specific framework for information on what optional proficiencies are available.

  
  

  You should discuss with your Educator/Manager whether you need to add these.

  
  

  1. Select Manage optional proficiencies

  
  

  
  

  2. Select Select all proficiencies or individually tick specific profiencies and select Submit

  
  

  
  

  3. These optional proficiencies will then be added within the main proficiencies list, and can be self-assessed in the same way as any other proficiencies.

  

  
  

  
  

  If you need to remove these optional proficiencies, select Manage optional proficiencies, Deselect all proficiencies and Submit.

  
  

  
  

  After a framework has been signed off it is possible to add additional optional competencies at a later date. Once any additional optional competencies have been signed off by an Assessor then the framework needs to be re-submitted to an Educator/Manager for Final Sign Off to take place again.
